Dear friends,

Teqball was invented in 2014 in Hungary and it is a new football-based sport, which is perfectly suitable for professional footballers. Teqball is a sport which can be played anytime and anywhere, indoor & outdoor, regardless of age and gender which played over a curved table. It is purely type of football and there is no physical contact between the players. Therefore, injuries can never take place in the game or during practice.

In reality, it’s not a new game for Sri Lankans. Our good old days a well famous ball balancing game called “Raga” played by our people which is similar to Teqball and the game was well popular throughout the country. In 2019, the NOC Sri Lanka granted permission to establish a National Federation for Teqball and encourage affiliated sports agencies to develop the game Teqball in Sri Lanka. Our main objective is to encourage, promote, develop and control the sports - Teqball in Sri Lanka.

During the past few years we were able to facilitate our affiliated Associations to uplift the game Teqball by providing; Provide materials and increase infrastructure, conduct workshops, provide coaches, conduct special training camps, organize tournaments between affiliated Associations.

We thank the President and the Secretary-General of NOC Sri Lanka for their kind cooperation rendered. We would like to convey our most sincere thanks to FITEQ for their valuable assistance and believe without their most generous backing we would not be able to reach our objectives in the game Teqball.
